The Independent Party will have no centralized party platform. Each candidate will have their own platform; however, each candidate must agree to support, protect and defend the Constitution of The United States. Positions on issues like minimum wage, foreign trade agreements, domestic and foreign policy, abortion, privacy rights, legalization of marijuana, would be up to the individual candidate. At a primary the candidates would explain their own platforms and registered voters of The Independent Party would chose a candidate who most appealed to them. It will be the candidate and the candidate's positions on issues and not the party's positions on issues that will determine the outcome of the election.
